All the materials requested: books, headphones, and a dry-erase board will provide students with a rich distance learning experience. Since we are currently in a world-wide pandemic, these materials will allow me to give my students the closest thing to in-person learning. The first ELA Unit for my students is People, Laws, and Democracy. All of the books requested will allow me to provide engaging live read aloud lessons with deep discussions. Additionally, headphones can be provided to students to help them focus while engaged in distance learning, as well as ensuring one pair for each student. Finally, the dry-erase board will allow me to display anchor chart information that will easily be captured as a reference to embed into our distance learning platforms. With all these new materials, my students will be able to get maximum instruction through distance learning. I look forward to providing an engrossed Reading and Writing instructional platform for my students this year.
