My students are low on the socioeconomic scale. They bring much of their lives to school every day, good or bad. I teach at a Title I school, and am looking to give students a science experience they will never forget. I was astounded to find out that many of my 7th grade students had never done, nor been allowed to "experience" science through hands-on activities. I have made it my mission to bring science alive for my students, and force them to solve problems using the data they collect.
