Hello everyone! I teach at a Title 1 school with the highest form of poverty. I have homeless kids in my class and kids that wear the same clothes to school for several days at a time. I am not asking for sympathy just a chance for these kids to see what our world has to offer. There is so much out there and my students will never get the chance to experience it. They really have the desire to learn. Most of my students, only 7 or 8 years old, goes home to an empty house and has to feed, bathe, and do homework by themselves because their single parent is working 2-3 jobs to make ends meet. All I am asking for is HOPE!
