My students are in Kindergarten. Children that are full of endless possibilities. They are full of energy and excitement for learning. Our classroom is located in a rural school in Northeast Florida. My students come from various economic backgrounds. For many of them, my classroom is the only positive, safe, and encouraging place they have. My classroom fosters the love of learning while at the same time, builds community and provide a safe place to make mistakes. My students love to sing and dance, listen to all types of stories, and work together to solve problems. Our building is new but really lacks any type of storage for the children or teachers. With being at a brand new school our budget is devoted to buying much needed curriculum and basic supplies for the classrooms.
