My students are very interested in what is happening in the USA with the government, the environment, and with other boys and girls their age. Unfortunately, their access to current events is limited. Donations towards Scholastic News will keep my students informed, engaged, and hopefully, keep them engaged in our world as they become adults. The use of Scholastic News would be incorporated into our literacy stations as well as social studies and/or science. The use of Scholastic News will engage students in a way that makes sense to them. My students would love the opportunity to learn from this media source.
