My school is a charter school that accepts deaf, hard of hearing and hearing students. We are proud to say that most of our students don't fit the mold of what other schools accept as normal. We have students from all over the city, with varying needs and learning styles. My school is one of a kind, we are a dual language school, using American Sign Language as well as English to fully support every communication need of our students. 60% of our students have an IEP, meaning more than half of our students are in Special Ed. Our staff is constantly creating new and exciting ways for our students to learn in a way that is beneficial and fun for them as well as for the teachers!
