With the requested magazines, my students will be able to see the connections between the learning they are engaged in at school and discoveries taking place in scientific communities around the world. Reading engaging texts will help strengthen the literacy skills of my students, many of whom are English language learners. Your generosity will aid my students in expanding their knowledge of the world around them while also strengthening their literacy skills. The engaging information in the magazines will expose my students to many new ideas and possible career paths within the science community. With the donations given to our project we will be closer to creating a classroom of readers who are passionate about science.

About my class
