My school is a fantastic place to teach and learn. Students are welcomed every day walking in hallways full of smiling faces and positive attitudes. The students at MEC are amazingly driven and motivated to learn. With a variety of family backgrounds and income averages, the kids are different, but loving and accepting of everybody they meet. Our school has a large variety of emotional support, autistic support, and life skills students. These students are accepted into the regular education classroom with loving arms both by their teachers and their peers. One of my favorite things about the students I teach is that they are always excited. They emote a constant buzz for learning in the classroom. When I tell them about something new and fun that we will be learning, they can not contain their anticipation and eagerness to learn. It makes me eager and excited to teach them as well.
