Our school is in an urban area. The majority of our students receive free/reduced lunch. While other school districts in the same vicinity are struggling to gain accreditation, our district continues to be one of the top urban school districts in the state. I have 25 awesome first graders. Each of them is special and unique. My classroom consists of students from an array of cultural, religious, and ethnic backgrounds. They also have different learning styles and interests.

About my class
