I am fortunate to teach in a diverse school where my students come from all backgrounds. They embrace one another and learn as much from themselves as from me. With almost half of my students in the last two years as English Language Learners, we learn about different cultures and customs, languages, and beliefs. They learn about different home lives and the challenges that one another face. My students are caring, hard working, and funny. They do well in groups and challenge one another to learn more or do better each and every day. We are surrounded by positives, and I feel so lucky to have a place I love to go to work. It is because of my students that I love my job.
