I have a class of 19 first grade students some are English Second Language (ESL) students. My school is child centered. It promotes nightly reading through a school wide nightly reading log. Through out the school year, the staff along with students and parents put on digital nights/literacy nights/carnivals etc. The community plays a big role in our school's success. We all work together to make sure each child has opportunities to be involved in fun and meaningful activities through out the school year.

About my class
