Our students are absolutely wonderful. They are the most hardworking, kind-hearted students I have met! We have many ranch families – so our students are always doing chores and working hard at home. I love to hear about the kids and the rodeos they compete in. It is one of the most popular things to do almost year round. The sweetest thing is when a little 5 year old tells me about their horse and the 4-wheeling they did to “catch him” the night before. These kids are one of a kind. I had almost lost my faith in the upcoming generation at a big school over on the other side of the state (Sioux Falls). Moving out here has been the best thing that my family and I have done. These people are truly one of a kind and so friendly to everyone they meet. It’s not every school that a student will greet you by name when you walk by them in the hallway. All of our students do this – and it is the sweetest thing.
