We are a Title I school where everyone receives a free breakfast and lunch each day. Approximately 95% of my students are Hispanic and many of them move frequently within our district and to other states during the year. We are a community school so we receive support from local businesses who come in and run various after school programs for our students to participate in. Most teachers also run after school programs for the students. My students are hard workers who do no give up easily. They want to be successful. We set individual goals and review them weekly. We celebrate the goals we reach and then set a new goal. We recently became a Leader in Me School so we are teaching our future leaders how to be leaders through Covey's 7 habits.
