During the Mock Trial process, students take a fact-based trial and prepare their cases for court. They compete against other schools in the area, but are at a disadvantage financially when compared to private schools. These kids love law, and our goal is to get them the materials they need in order to be successful. The students in Mock Trial spend a tremendous amount of time preparing themselves for the trial. The school has limited sources to be used for extra curricular activities. Each member of Mock Trial could use a binder, sticky notes, dividers, and highlighters to properly set up for trial. This is an invaluable learning experience for a diverse group of students.
