My students come from a variety of backgrounds, but when they enter my room I help them to realize that we are family. At Wintergreen, community is of utmost importance. Our staff works together as a team to provide a safe, nurturing and academically rigorous education for our students. In my classroom, we function as family. It is important to me that the students are loved and supported by me and their peers. I provide lots of hands-on activities and experiences for my students so that they not only learn content but they also learn life lessons.
