This school year, I would like to create a flexible classroom environment; where each student freely takes charged on their learning to explore their potential and be accountable for their own learning and progress. The plastic stools will help our small group instruction time to run smoothly. Students will comfortably fit around the kidney table, and they won't have to drag their chairs across the classroom whenever their group is called. The floor cushions will be used during independent work block when students have the freedom to choose the best working space and style for themselves. The rug is to create another workspace for the students. The printer will allow students to print out their research project resources and reports. Last but not least, the magazine file folders will allow them to store and carry all their personal books and papers as they transit from activities to activities throughout the day.
