Before anything else, our students are warm, intelligent, excited kids and learners. Over 90% qualify for free and reduced lunch based on family income and after attendance zone changes more than half will be classified as English Language Learners. As a result, they haven't always had access to the resources - from technology to print books to adults who speak English fluently - at home that make many children's academic experience comparatively easy. Nevertheless, they are determined to learn and find the joy in each moment. Alongside their families and community members, teachers and administrators at our school are creating a rigorous and caring environment that will allow them to reach their full potential!
