I work in a low income school district in rural Illinois. Over 60% of my students are on free or reduced lunch, with most local families struggling to provide even the most basic of daily needs. College is often not even considered by many of our families, and my school is striving to change that. I am working through DonorsChoose here to provide as many new and exciting resources to my students as I possibly can. With your help, we can improve the learning opportunities students have in my classroom.
