My name is Terry Spencer. I am a kindergarten teacher in one of the poorest districts in Pennsylvania. One hundred percent of our student population qualifies for free lunch. Education is my second career. I spent the first part of my career in professional management positions with fortune 50 companies such as: AT&T, Merck & Co., and Bank of America. My last position I was a Bank Officer and Customer Service Team Manager in Mortgage Servicing. My position was cut during the financial crisis which took place in 2009. I always wanted to teach. I enrolled in a Master's program and earned my Masters in Education with an emphasis in Elementary Education. I graduated with a 3.94 G.P.A which entitled me to graduate with High Honors.
