The majority of my third grade students are English Language Learners who strive to gain an education where they can let their worries outside of school go. They come to school eager to learn and become better versions of themselves. My students want to be loved and appreciated for what they are able to do. My school has a large ENL (English as a New Language) population where we service students with many different languages. I find it extremely special that I get to provide an education to Burmese refugees. It is amazing what students are capable of doing and working with my students proves why education is so important.
