These materials will make a huge difference in my classroom. I am VERY big on a classroom environment that not only fosters learning but most importantly, a family atmosphere where students feel safe. Together, my students and I will use these items in our daily routines. The rocking chair will be used during our read aloud time where we are all sitting huddled together. The tablets with cases will give us some technology that we lack and will be used in a variety of ways. Mostly, collaboratively. We have three ancient computers in our room that don't always work. With all the technology and resources out there, it is important that my kiddos are able to learn and grow. I know my students would benefit greatly from these materials especially since most do not see them at home.
