The workshop model I use in my classroom allows me to review concepts with students who need a little extra attention and care in order to understand the day's lesson. We used to have access to computers a few year ago, but due to limited resources, I no longer have access to computers at my school. These 4 Dell ChromeBook 11's will give my students a new center option to independently work on improving their math skills. Students will definitely benefit from having access to these computers in class once again. I look forward to having students able to independently pursue their own interests in math topics. Access to these ChromeBooks will also help many of the high school students I tutor after school so that they can make use of online test prep websites as they prepare for their SATs and ACTs. Additionally, our schools math team will undoubtedly make use of these laptops on days I don't have tutoring in order to prepare for their regular competitions.
