I teach in a high poverty area where all students receive breakfast, lunch and snack daily. Many of our students are in crisis or face challenges far beyond their years. I am committed to providing a safe, nurturing classroom environment that supports their social-emotional well-being, as well as their academic development. I strive to fill our day with rich literacy experiences, hands on math exploration, scientific inquiry and problem solving. However, this effort is often hindered by a lack of resources. Your support for my students will be greatly appreciated.
