My students face a lot of challenges at home, and many of them have been exposed to hard times at a very early age which causes them to grow up quick. But in my class, we have fun. We laugh, joke, tell stories and act them out. We put ourselves out there and we fail sometimes, but we try again. We encourage each other and we hold each other accountable. But most importantly, we stretch our minds and our imaginations when we read books.

About my class
