My students are very active and they are constantly wiggling while working. When students start to wiggle around in the tradition desk, it tends to make a lot of noises and you run the risk of them getting hurt. The flexible seating options will assist my students in being able to wiggle safely. They will have different options of seating to help them determine where they will work best. Flexible seating provides students with the materials to take control over their learning environment. Some students like to lay on the floor, sit at low tables, stand at taller tables, etc. With flexible seating they have the options of sitting where they feel will help them work hardest. When students are given the ability to make decisions in the classroom, they feel more in control and are more likely to stay focused.
