My school is located in a poverty stricken and often violent area of the city. The students often do not have regular meals, a change of clothes, or parents that speak English. My school works to create a safe place for all student and even opened a food pantry to the community. Our students do not have access to computers or tablets at home, which is why I am asking for technology. Our technology is out of date and often inaccessible to the younger students.
