My active group needs to see the connection of reading to technology with hands-on activities. My students would not have the personal resources or opportunities to make and build robots if not for school. We need 5 Star Wars Droid Inventor Kits. I want to be able to give my students the opportunity to build projects together using reading skills and thinking skills that we talk about every day. This activity will help build communication skills needed in everyday life and the workplace. Each student will need to be able to communicate what they have worked on to the next group and learn to trouble shoot problems together. I don't expect this skill to come easily at first.
