I am blessed to work in a high poverty school as a speech-language pathologist where I work with Preschool through 6th grade students. I spend my days with some of the most remarkable, resilient individuals that I will ever meet and learn from them each and every day. I work along side a talented, creative staff who genuinely care and give their all to their students. I believe in each of my students as people and see them as the individuals that they are, embracing the gifts that they bring to our speech therapy sessions. I am a firm believer in using these strengths and interests to develop strategies for areas of need so that my students can truly become the best version of themselves. In my classroom, we are a family and we operate as such. My heart burst with pride when I see what they can accomplish and watch them surpass their goals.
