With the integration of the technology in the classroom, having a charged device is becoming an increasing issue. Students come to school with a device that is not charged causing them to lose valuable class time. Students bring their Chromebook home daily and have chargers at home. Having a designed charging station at school as well can help alleviate those issues. We have also had issues with headphones and although the school provides them, they are easily broken and often have additional parts like microphones that get in the way and become a distraction. Colored paper and manipulatives are helpful in creating the hands on learning experiences that students were lacking through distance education.
