My students (usually around 20) have a wide range of learning levels ranging from below level learners (1-2 levels below grade level) to students who are advanced in third grade skills. Most often the are extremely active and have a had time remaining on task and sitting still. The students need to be actively invoked and constantly redirected to make the correct choices. Our school has many single parent families with most having little to no home support. We are a community with high unemployment due to many of the businesses closing so more than half of the school is on free lunch and breakfast.

About my class
