My kindergarten students play to learn and at the same time, they learn to play! We don't use worksheets for practice, instead, we use hands-on experiences to take learning to the next level. All the materials I have chosen will allow students to grow academically and socially through play. Being a teacher of 5-6 year-olds, I have learned the value of keeping students engaged, challenging their minds, and seeing content in many different ways. The Stem lab, building blocks, fidget toys, and other items I have chosen will give students variety in the classroom as they work to become independent learners and thinkers.
