My school is a title one school and all of my students eat breakfast and lunch at school. My second grade students are in need of cozy spots to meet for whole group, read books and work in different areas of the classroom. My classroom has cold tile floor. Second graders need to get up and move around, instead of sitting at their desks all day. They will be able to chose alternative seating, throughout the classroom for their work. This can be choosing a bean bag chair to work on spelling words, or laying on their stomachs on the rug to read with a friend. They will also be able to grab a giant pillow and write a story. Please help me create a home away from home environment. Each child will be loved for their unique personalities and be motivated to learn everyday!
