My students will use these tablets to practice and enhance their vocabulary skills. They will have access to Vocabulary City and other vocabulary enrichment websites. There will be a strong emphasis on Greek and Latin affixes and roots. This important skill will help improve reading and writing throughout the curriculum. It will also help raise self-confidence as these students' reading, writing and vocabulary scores increase. Having access to these tablets will allow my students to work at their own guided pace. Since the technology will be new, these programs will less likely malfunction.
