Many of my first graders haven't had a complete year of Kindergarten due to Covid -19, so they missed having access to different types of print. I would love to share a different magazine with them each week. Also, I would like students to be able to select just-right books from our classroom library and take them back to their seat. I will utilize the social-emotional learning materials to assist students with their executive functioning skills by teaching them lessons that will help them deal with all sorts of emotions, help them to self-regulate, get along with others, and become more self aware.
