My students love to be immersed in books that capture and spark their interest. They enjoy discussing with other classmates the characters, and main idea of the story. In my classroom imagination is key part of morning circle. It is a time when my students come together and bond not only as classmates but eventually as a family. Our school recently opened a dual language program but we do not have all the resources needed to kick-start this program. Our classroom library does not have many Spanish books. We also don't have a comfy meeting area. Having both the books and the meeting area would allow for us to come together to share read alouds and special discussions to help one another grow by igniting their imagination through the world of books.
