My school is a very positive behavior driven school, through loving teachers and administration, we strive to teach children structure and how to care for one another. Procedures are not put in place to hinder others, they are put in place to protect and care for each and every child's safety. Our school is PBIS driven and it benefits our school community greatly. Through our school's wide procedures, our students know how to act regardless of where they are in the building. I am a first year teacher and I am blessed with the most special group of twenty 10 year olds. They are creative, bright and WANT to learn! The biggest set back for most of them is their socio-economic status. My hope and dream is to teach them that regardless of where they come from, they can achieve whatever they put their minds to; they are the future!
