For three years, I have been teaching students. The majority of our students are Hispanics coming from low-income families. They defy stereotypes. Academic excellence is an expectation on our campus. We outperform most schools in the country. My students are driven, and they celebrate their successes with their classmates. I never saw a students high-five for academic success before I started working here. We dominate in our athletics programs as well. What we are lacking, however, is a strong arts program.

About my class
