The dry erase boards and markers are an alternative to the typical lined notebooks for sharing student work. As we will be viewing each other through a laptop monitor, students will be able to write larger and brighter so their classmates and I can review their work. These tools will continue to help my students grow stronger in writing. With these new writing tools, my students will be able to model author's craft in their writing and share their thoughts with our class through the live virtual platform. I will be able to conduct quick checks of their learning, remediate as necessary, and they will share their thoughts during writing workshop in an environment friendly way. These writing tools will continue to enhance the virtual learning process so we can communicate with each other as a learning community, despite our distance from one another.
