Imagine yourself in my classroom. “Students, as you finish your writing, come and join me on the carpet and we will share …….. " Moments later, as students finish, you notice sadly that there is not enough room on the carpet. Byron looks around the edge, but there is nowhere to sit. So you ask the later students to sit around the edge (on the cold tile -- sorry, Mom). Eduardo steps on Isla's work and she begins to cry.
