Due to the ongoing pandemic, my students have had to adjust to virtual speech therapy, something they have never experienced before and are not used to. Many of them have attention difficulties, and technology such as an iPad will help keep them engaged throughout their sessions. My students make the most progress when they are engaged and excited about therapy! The applications on the iPad will keep my students excited about therapy, which will help them make faster progress and avoid losing the skills that they've worked so hard to develop. My students will be able to use programs on the iPad to target a variety of goals. My students’ goals range from difficulty saying certain speech sounds, to using picture systems to communicate basic wants and needs.
