I teach English Language Arts to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders at a school I’m proud to be part of. My students are curious, creative, and full of personality. They come from many backgrounds and bring different talents, interests, and goals into our classroom each day, and every one of them is working toward something meaningful. Our school has a warm, dedicated team of staff who go above and beyond for students, and we share a simple belief: every student deserves a high-quality education and a classroom where they feel seen. I feel lucky to be part of a community that lives out that belief every day. I love finding ways to make learning engaging, whether that’s a great novel, a lively discussion, or a small reward that makes a student smile.
