The students in my 6th grade classes range from 11-12 years of age and come from different backgrounds! Many of my students are immigrants from some very special places such as Ethiopia, Eritrea, Morocco, Palau, Egypt, El Salvador, Mexico, and the list goes on! There are so many languages spoken in my classroom as well. No matter where they come from or what their native language is they share a fabulous commonality - the LOVE of science! Our science class is always on the move! We bring our materials outside, and everywhere that science is happening around our school. My classes are ready to engage even further in their learning!
