Our school is a school that is dedicated to teaching students in a nurturing and supportive environment. In our mini integrated classroom we support students with diverse learning needs and many different cultural backgrounds. Our students speak multiple languages, have sensory needs, and learn best through engaging activities. Many of our students find typical paper and pen writing very challenging. When given colorful and engaging activities or games, our students are more motivated to learn. Therefore, they make more progress. Socialization is also a goal for many of our students. Playing educational games, and working in partners during guided reading centers, helps our students learn social cues, and how to be flexible.
