My name is Georgia Lovenburg. I am a kindergarten teacher at Carnegie Elementary. The project I am in need of is a circle time rug. Due to the large amount of students in my class, my old carpet didn't accommodate my students. Some felt left out because there wasn't enough room for everyone to sit and have the space they needed. I had to use single carpet squares or chairs for the overflow of students. Also, my old circle time carpet was unraveling around the edges and coming apart underneath. A large amount of our students come from low income families who are unable to have new things. It would be something they would be proud of and appreciate. Due to the funding cuts, our school is unable to buy new items for our classroom. Each donation would be greatly appreciate not only from me, but from each and every one of my students. Thank you for your support.
