My idea of these new, safe tables and chairs would a great gift for my students this fall. The wobbly, broken tables and chairs they will sit in will not be conducive to cooperative learning groups. We are not going to be able to have papers, math manipulatives, and pencils that do not roll off the tables due to the wobbly tables and mismatched sized chairs that have been left in this room. My classroom would be a safer, more comfortable learning environment for students, as they worked together to solve critical thinking problems. The tables and chairs would greatly be appreciated by the students, parents and myself.
