Crafting is learning! I love integrating art into our learning projects. Students use craft materials to create story character puppets, story settings, and other fun book projects. Students can use popsicle sticks, wiggle eyes, and other items to make character puppets. Students will use Model magic to recreate story scenes, characters and other book related props. Animal beads and chenille stems will make great tools for creating story sequencing crafts to show the order that animals appeared in a story. Students will love coming to the library and love becoming engrossed in books, reading, and learning. Thank you for helping me to making literacy fun, hands-on and crafty.
