I am a NYS Certified Elementary School Teacher. I was fortunate to be granted a full-time teaching position at Public School 306. I am currently assigned to teach a 3rd grade General Education class of 25 unique children. Based on my first two years teaching experience at Public School 306 as a 4th grade ICT teacher and a 3rd grade teacher, I am convinced that teaching is my calling. I conclude that teaching young minds is a task that cannot be taken lightly. It is full of challenges, frustrations, and responsibilities. However, it is a task that is also full of excitement, wonder and joy. I strongly believe that all children are capable of learning, if they have the proper motivation and direction from their teachers. To activate this passion in a student, a teacher is needed to build that foundation in every child. Thus, my dream as a teacher is to bring out the best in my students.
