My students are a very energetic group. When faced with challenges, they work together as a team. They enjoy working in cooperative learning groups to complete hands-on activities. They also like doing research projects. Most of my students do not have technology at home. thave to go to the public library to access a computer or an iPad. Many of them come from single parent homes. Most of them have never been out of the county. Although many of my students are at a disadvantage in life, they come in with a smile ready to work each day. School is definitely a safe haven for some of my students. I enjoy working with my students because I love their positive attitudes. Our school is the largest elementary school in the district with an estimated enrollment of 630 students grades K-5th. It is a Title 1 school with 100% highly qualified teachers. The staff is committed to students first in building commun
