My students are a great group of kids. They love to be read to and to read. They enjoy singing and dancing and technology, and they are yearning for laptop access daily in our classroom to develop their research and writing skills. The students in my class are not much different from the students in our school. They are hungry for knowledge, but also crave the "edge" of learning. Having technology at their fingertips to pair with their reading will not only help them become better students but it will also help prepared for their future in high school and beyond. As a school, and a classroom we believe in building ourselves and one another up and celebrating our successes. I cannot wait to see what opportunities will be open to my students, and the opportunities they will want to open for others on our campus, especially their first grade reading buddies. We love to learn and look for the most interesting ways to accomplish that.
