The students that enter my classroom come from many different backgrounds. Many of them have a hard time concentrating and sitting for long periods of time. Each child is special and unique and therefore learn that way too. I have three students who have a learning disability. Two students who have been retained and several students who struggle on a daily basis to attend in class. I am constantly challenged to think of new and interesting ways to keep their attention. A stand up desk will be an amazing addition to my classroom.
